CAEFEM [Concurrent Analysis Corp]

CAEFEM is a general-purpose, nonlinear finite element analysis andmodeling system. Its analysis capabilities include static displacementand stress calculations considering the effects of large displacementsand nonlinear material behavior; frequency and buckling analysis; andsteady-state and transient-heat transfer analysis with convection andradiation boundary conditions.The preprocessor is an interactive geometric modeler and an integratedfinite element mesh generator. The postprocessing capabilities includeanimation of the finite element results and an array of stress,displacement, and temperature plots.Future releases of CAEFEM will exploit parallel processing features ofthe hardware.
